Welcome to the two Little Latitudes Vacation Homes: Barefoot Beach House and The Nene Hideaway! Our two fantastic vacation rental houses are located in the historic town of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our homes are in the Keaukaha community in Hilo, near Richardson Beach Park. Richardson Beach Park is renowned for its beautiful black sand beach, incredible coral and snorkeling, excellent bodyboarding and surfing waves, as well as its diverse wildlife, like Hawaiian green sea turtles, nēnē (the rare Hawaiian goose), and humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa (Hawaii's state fish).
The James family lives in the same neighborhood as their vacation homes and can often be seen swimming in the ocean, walking along the coast, or riding their bikes near the jungle. We love this area and our homes and are excited to share a piece of them with you.
Robert and Erinn have teamed up with Salt Water Vacations Hawaii, a local and highly experienced on-island hospitality team, to manage our two homes.

We found it welcoming and well-appointed with extra little touches like coffee, sunscreen, laundry soap, beach towels and gear, etc. The location is ideal near swimming and a short drive from restaurants, shopping and the airport.
